We are the Espiritu family; big hearted, ambitious Mexican-American family from Las Cruces, New Mexico and the founders/owners of Grounded, the coffee, wine and wood fired pizza lounge in Downtown Las Cruces (first of its kind here in LC!). We are so extremely excited to be fulfilling our family dream and opening up this incredible space in the heart of our growing city. And just like our family name, we are full of spirit and are so excited to share it with our community. Grounded has been a project in the works for years…we just didn’t know it then. Since our childhood, every time we travel to a new place, the first thing we do is look for the cutest, most unique and recommended coffee shops to make a list of our favorites from the trip. Taking notes of what we loved from each place. Little did we know that all of these trips were preparing us for now! It is a family ordeal, so I hope everyone is ready to feel at home, connected and welcomed at our space, we are so thrilled to have you<3 Mucho Amor!

Our Vision
One of the biggest things for us in opening Grounded is to be the spot for students, professionals and really anyone looking for a casual workspace or communal, social area that’s laid back and inviting, and best of all, downtown! We’re open late every night and even later on the weekends with events, game nights, and live music throughout the week! We want this space to be a go-to spot for families, young adults, professionals, youth, and everyone! All are welcome at Grounded. This is a space that brings together our roots, values and passions to showcase the beauty of our diverse culture and community.

★ About Me/Hobbies: my name's Jayce, some call me JayBoog. I was born and raised here in las cruces, I’m a junior studying business at New Mexico State University. Some of my hobbies are I like to skateboard/ hang with my friends and play my PlayStation.
