The automotive department at the Charlotte MI Walmart have no knowledge of cars or how to service them properly. Instead of informing me I had a cracked lugnut they proceeded to try to get it off, completely ruining the rim on my car. They claimed it was torqued too tight before. However it was clearly seen how they leaned on the bar to break the lugnut loose. Instead of coming or calling to talk to me they broke it off and then told me they couldn't help me get it off at all now and to come get my car.

No compensation for the work that it took to get the rim off by someone knowledgeable and they were completely rude about the situation and continued to tell me it was our fault. Be warned. Walmart will not tell you they don't or can't do something. They will just break it and tell you it's not your fault. While I was there I witnessed the manager talk to the staff about an earlier issue to which they got extremely upset and started banging stuff around. I should have seen the sign and immediately taken my car back then.

Their service center is an absolute disaster. The hack not a tech but a hack that was assigned to my vehicle to care less about other people's property. I was in the Lisbon location, once the vehicle was inside to have an oil change and four tires balanced and rotated. They initially bring the vehicle back and they rotated the tires they didn't balance them. The need to take it back inside because he can't follow basic instructions. The manager had to assign a second person to help the hack who didn't know how to use a tire balance machine.

I get the vehicle home three of my four wheels on my SUV which didn't have a Nick, a chip, a scratch any place... add chips and damage all around the center cap area because he was banging the wheel spacer slamming it into the wheel to get it to position itself for the wheel balance machine. He got grease on my steering wheel, my armrests, my console, because they don't use gloves, and it was drippings of oil going down the fender. I need to go back to put an insurance claim in on the wheels... and now the insurance adjuster wants me to settle for junkyard wheels on a pristine vehicle mine that didn't have a single Nick chip scratch on any of its Wheels prior to going in.

The estimate he sends me or not only for junkyard Wheels but for the incorrect wheel. So they want you to settle for junkyard Wheels, and they're not even the right ones... this is what Walmart has turned into. They hire incompetent people. So it's a nightmare now for me to get any type of retribution so that my vehicle can be in the condition it was prior to going in. Of course, now I have to convince them that the wheels are going to get swapped over at a dealership can they charge a fee plus tax. Bottom line is do not go to Walmart service center it's a disaster.

Extremely incompetent Walmart Auto Center personnel, charged for services not provided, falsified paperwork. I requested personnel, including management to please be very careful not to overfill crankcase with oil. This is damaging to engine. Very difficult to communicate with personnel, I don't speak/understand Spanish, People who changed oil didn't know how to read oil dipstick, I checked oil level before leaving and "yes" one QT over. Manager had to drain one QT. Do not trust Walmart personnel, they could damage your vehicle.

The tire center put two new tires on. Messed up my lug nuts. Messed up my wheel studs. Messed up a hub and two tire sensors and they still haven't called me back. I will not be back in to but I have it them do anything to my truck again.

Wal Mart Auto in Sioux City, IA broke the oil pan in my leased 2021 Subaru Ascent during a routine oil change. They had it towed to the local dealer. Will take 4 weeks to repair. I have been without a vehicle for 4 days now without a replacement vehicle to drive unless I pay for it myself.

Wasted 2.30 minutes to wait for oil change and still first car in line not done yet. I left with frustration, they are terrible just sitting and passing time. Snails would move faster than these folks.

I have never witnessed an apparently called ”maintenance tech crew” at Walmart of course, be so, I mean SO LAZY that every single customer in the waiting room is either cursing on the phone or literally pulling hair out their heads because they have to call and make arrangements for kids/family, etc. Due to “techs” taking an hour to almost 3 hours longer than expected. Nobody gives a crap and I mean that it is insanely unprofessional environment. I’ll end it with this. I purchased a high mileage oil change $54.88 and a top treatment that had to be done prior to oil being topped off for $12. I was told by tech and Supervisor.

I sat on hold for 2.5 hours waiting for someone to answer and that's not including the multiple times they hung up on me. By the time someone answered and scheduled an appointment they were rude. When we got tires they were poor quality and installed wrong. Will never go back.

Made an appointment to have my tires rotated. The employee informed me I needed an alignment. I informed her it would be foolish to do an alignment with tires that didn't have much life left in them. She agreed and said I needed new tires. I told her I wasn't interested in new tires. She informed me it would be against store policy to rotate the tires because of the wear on the tires. I asked the manager to show me the policy. He fumbled and continued to look at his computer screen for several minutes. I informed him I had purchased the tires at that store and wouldn't be back. I went to Farm and Fleet, paid $16 and got the tires rotated.

I bought 4 new Primewell Valera Sport AS tires from Walmart.com on October 29, 2023. Had them installed at a Walmart Auto Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. I found out they did not install them correctly, as they did not inflate them to my car's specs WHICH ARE RIGHT ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOORJAMB AS IT IS ON EVERY VEHICLE. 10 days later, I got a "tire pressure low" light on my dash. Went right to the Old Bridge, NJ location which was opened the latest and was the closest. I went inside to request that the car's tire be looked at (put on a lift), fixed and inflate them as needed. Female employee denied my request, told me to come back the next day, and had a tech put air in my tires. Light went off but I was wary of the issue.

Driving back the next day, I braked in traffic and slid right into the back of another car-total loss of traction. Filed a claim with Walmart Claims Services, and they did not even do an inspection of my car nor are they acknowledging the gross error made at Myrtle Beach. Do not get your car serviced at a walmart auto care center, and check out all of the complaints on them on bbb.Org. Also going after the manufacturer of the tires, Giti tire.
