If you're headed to watch the Braves play, The Battery has some great dining options for your pre- and post-game meal, and Truist Park is also coming through for hungry fans with more than just peanuts and Cracker Jacks. The ballpark stepped up to the plate with fresh menu items to bring new energy into another season. While we can't promise a 2024 World Series, we’d happily go to bat for the seven items listed below.

THE SPOTS

The Brisket Sandwich

Location: Section 112

Last year The Carvery had a 3-foot-long submarine sandwich that could feed the entire Braves starting lineup. This year, they’ve pared things down with their made-to-order brisket sandwich. While it’s a more manageable 6-inch sub, it’s still loaded down with half a pound of smoked beef brisket, sautéed mushrooms, and spicy jalapeños all topped with cheese sauce. The toasted hoagie is fresh with a nice crunch, but the tender brisket is the star. Its rich, smoky flavor isn’t just good by ballpark standards, we’d buy a Braves ticket just to walk in and eat this again.

Fred's Meat & Bread

Cheesesteak

Location: Section 310

We’re still bitter about that 2023 playoff loss, so it’s hard for us to embrace anything having to do with Philly. But this cheesesteak from is so good we have to set our pettiness aside. Fans of this Krog Street Market food stall already know it as one of the best cheesesteaks in Atlanta. While the Truist Park version isn't as good as the original, it works well as a pinch hitter. The perfectly browned ribeye is chopped into tiny bits with onions and melted provolone cheese all on a soft but firm long roll.

H&F Burger

The Original H+F Burger

Location: Sections 315, 335 and full H+F restaurant at the Chophouse Gate

We don’t know what’s more impressive about the H+F stands inside the ballpark, seeing the ground beef being smashed and flipped on a sizzling grill or having the finished product really taste like the burgers we’ve come to obsess over at H+F’s full Ponce City Market and Colony Square locations. Not sure. All we know for certain is that these delicious double patties topped with pickles, red onions, and american cheese are worth whatever wait you encounter in the early innings of the game.

Xfinity Rooftop Lounge

Shrimp Po'Boy

Location: Xfinity Rooftop Club

The shrimp po'boy comes with six to seven meaty shrimp, so if you decide to share the sandwich, you won’t find yourself involved in a custody battle over the last one. The seasoned fried shrimp sits on a bed of shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and remoulade sauce pillowed by thick hoagie bread. Seafood isn't a sports stadium staple, but we'd vote for this to replace the hotdog as the go-to baseball food.

Smokey Q

Baseball Helmet Brisket Nachos

Location: Sections 116, 329

We admit if it wasn’t for our cheesy need for a game souvenir,we’d probably overlook the baseball helmet nacho bowl—especially since these stalls usually have a wait. And it’s worth it. Yes, they're pretty standard concession stand-quality tortilla chips drenched in an ordinary queso. But the flavors really burst with a sweet, shredded barbecue brisket and drizzles of crema and a tangy red sauce.

Coops Champion Chicken

Funnel Fries

Location: Sections 138 & 320

The funnel cake fries at Coops is the best sweet snack at Truist Park. They’re doused with the perfect amount of powdered sugar and have a golden crispy exterior while staying soft and fluffy inside. They’re so good, you may find yourselfcheering even when the Braves are down.

slu*tty Vegan

Vegan Cheesesteak

Location: Section 145

Remember slu*tty Vegan when you’re looking to eat something without missing much game action. Your order at this vegan food stand will be ready before you can figure out which side of your credit card to tap, and that’s thanks to a streamlined menu of two generously stuffed, plant-based cheesesteaks (one with and without onions). While these foil-wrapped sandwiches come steaming hot, the bread stays firm and doesn’t fall apart like pitcher mechanics in the seventh inning.
