Job Description: The Senior Supply Chain Operations Specialist (Projects) will collaborate internally and externally to evolve Go-to-market solutions with new products and/or strategic customers that improve and drive supply chain efficiencies. With this vision and insight, this role will provide support to the Supply Chain Development team in project coordination and will also be in charge of detailed projects plans and facilitating cross-functional team meetings to ensure on time and successful completion of projects. This is a remote-based opportunity.
Responsibilities: Project Coordination
- Provide project coordination for Supply Chain projects that drive integration, re-engineering and growth initiatives in the Supply Chain function, supporting the US Nestle Health Science business.
- Provide a detailed project plan and facilitates a cross-functional team to ensure on time and successful completion of Operations/Supply Chain projects; Such projects may include product discontinuations, minor packaging changes, SKU extensions, etc.
- Properly and timely escalation of issues, so as not to impact the project timing.
Intermarket Coordination
- Lead the interaction with Export Associates and Export Affiliates to establish new business or products by working with respective internal departments or external agencies to ensure product is viable to ship.
- Work with Supply Planners/Deployers to ensure active and finalized Product Briefs are in place prior to shipment of goods.
- Arranges sample shipments as necessary for Affiliate markets.
- Works with the International 3rd Party Sales team to assist in the development of new products and/or customers by collaborating with markets and customers to ensure Product Registration is established, appropriate time is established for project needs, and that necessary documents are provided, as needed.
Align New Product/Market Launches with Export Affiliates
- Coordinate Product Registration with 3rd Party Sales team, importing market customer, and relevant government agencies, as necessary.
- Product Brief process for Export Affiliate business, by coordinating with all responsible parties to manage timelines for completion and work with Supply Planners to ensure PB’s are completed prior to production or shipments, or arrange for exceptions, as necessary.
- Partnership Agreement creation and refresh as needed, collaboration with Supply Planners and Deployment.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment
- Across Supply Chain and in partnership with other functions, define and lead a cross-functional projects that drive innovation and strategic operational improvements.
- Be the coordinator of multi-functional teams from concept creation to final delivery.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to your function (for example, typical timelines, checklist of required items for export, etc).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or in a related field required.
- 3+ years of work experience in Supply Chain, preferably managing key projects.
- Demonstrated fluency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
- Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, follow-up and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to build and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships).
- Ability to multi-task, must possess strong creative thinking skills and ability to prioritize work/projects based on the needs of the business required.
- Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of healthcare distribution, Nestlé competitors and business competition in general a plus.
- Knowledge or experience using SAP, Power BI or other CRM systems a plus.
- Willing and able to travel up to 15% based on the needs of the team and the business.
The approximate pay range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location.
